Every property has a few spots where grass will not stay alive. The strip under dense tree canopy that goes bare every summer. The dog park that turns to mud. The narrow median that gets scalped by the mower and baked by the pavement around it. Sodding those areas again every year is money spent on a known failure.
Green Image handles artificial turf installation Boca Raton communities and commercial properties use for exactly those spots, and we do the same work across Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Done right, turf removes a recurring sod bill and a recurring complaint. Done wrong, it drains poorly, smells and buckles.

Most requests we see are for turf for amenity areas, dog parks and medians. The common thread is a spot where natural grass either cannot get enough light, cannot recover from traffic or cannot be maintained safely.
Turf is not the answer for every lawn. Large open turf areas in full sun can get very hot, and well maintained sod is still the right choice for most common areas. We will tell you where turf fits and where it does not.
Turf drains through its backing into the base, so the base and the grading under it decide whether the area floods after a summer storm. Pet areas need a flow through backing, an antimicrobial infill and a rinse schedule to control odor.
Synthetic turf in direct sun gets much hotter than natural grass. Lighter infills and shade help, and that is one reason shaded areas are often the best fit. Turf also needs care: blowing off leaves, brushing high traffic areas, topping up infill and rinsing pet areas. We build that into the grounds maintenance visits so it does not become another vendor to manage.
The proposal names the area, the turf product, the base depth, the infill and the exclusions, including what happens to any irrigation heads in the area. Turf often pairs with sod installation in the surrounding lawn and with hardscape edging.
We walk the problem areas with you and send a written assessment with photos within 72 hours. To set it up, request a quote or call (561) 309-9603.

Everything a board should check before it signs a landscape contract.
Yes. Turf in direct sun gets noticeably hotter than natural grass. Shaded areas, lighter infill and smart placement help, and we will tell you where heat is likely to be a problem.
Water drains through the turf backing into the crushed stone base below. A properly graded and compacted base is what keeps the area from flooding after a storm.
A backing that lets liquid pass through quickly, an antimicrobial infill and a regular rinse and cleaning schedule. Without those, odor becomes the main complaint.
Heads in the turf area are capped or rerouted so the system keeps watering the surrounding beds and lawn. That work is named in the proposal.
