A tree planted wrong is a liability that grows. Too deep and it declines slowly. Too close to a walk and the roots lift the pavers. Wrong species at an entrance and in 5 years it blocks the view of oncoming traffic. Most of these problems are decided on planting day.

Green Image handles commercial tree installation for HOAs, condo associations and commercial properties in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade. We choose trees for the space they will have at maturity, plant them at the right depth, brace them for wind, and document every tree.

Commercial Tree Installation for HOAs and Commercial Properties

Palm and Shade Tree Planting for HOAs

Different spots on a property call for different trees.

  • Entrances: palms and accent trees that frame the monument without blocking sight lines for drivers turning in and out.
  • Parking lots and streets: shade trees with room for the canopy and root zone, set back from curbs and walks.
  • Common areas and lake banks: native and Florida friendly species that hold up to wind and wet soil.
  • Buffers: trees that screen walls, buildings and equipment.

How We Plant a Tree

  1. Locate utilities: underground lines are marked through Sunshine 811 before any digging.
  2. Select: we inspect trees at the nursery for root health, trunk condition and form.
  3. Plant at grade: the root flare sits at or slightly above grade, never buried.
  4. Brace: trees and palms are braced against wind until roots take hold, and braces come off on schedule.
  5. Water: irrigation coverage confirmed, with a written establishment watering plan.
  6. Record: each tree photographed and logged after install.

Tree Replacement After Storms

After a hurricane or a hard wind event, associations often lose trees at entrances and along roads. Once the debris is cleared through our storm damage crews and stumps are removed with stump grinding, we look at why the tree failed. Shallow roots, poor species choice and planting too close to pavement are common causes. The replacement plan fixes those, so the board is not replacing the same tree after the next storm.

What the Proposal Names

Every tree proposal lists the species, the size at install, the planted location, and the expected size at maturity, so the board can see how the tree will fit in 10 years and not only on day 1. It also names exclusions such as irrigation changes, permits where a city requires one for tree work, and removal of existing trees. When a tree is going near a walk, wall or parking space, the proposal notes the setback we used and why.

Backed by Plants for Life

Plants for Life means we pick trees for the light, soil, water and space they will actually have. For full program accounts, where Green Image handles maintenance, irrigation, and fertilization and pest control, every tree we install and maintain carries a lifetime plant warranty. If one dies, we replace it. Mature trees are then kept in shape through our tree trimming program.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size trees do you install?

We install everything from small accent trees to large specimen palms and shade trees. Size depends on the location, access for equipment and the look the board wants on day 1. Each proposal names species, size and quantity.

Most new trees and palms are braced against wind until the roots establish. We remove the bracing on schedule so it does not damage the trunk.

We source replacements as close in species and size as the nurseries allow. If an exact match is not available, we show you the options with photos before ordering.

For full program accounts, where Green Image handles maintenance, irrigation, and fertilization and pest control, every tree we install and maintain carries a lifetime plant warranty. Otherwise new plant material carries a 30 day warranty.
