On a new building, landscape lands at the end of the schedule, right when the superintendent has the least room for a sub who shows up late, installs the wrong plant, or leaves a punch list open for 3 weeks. On an existing community, a renovation that drags on means resident complaints and an unhappy board.

Green Image handles commercial landscape installation for general contractors, developers and HOAs across Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade. We work from the plan, hit the schedule, coordinate with irrigation, and close the punch list in writing.

Commercial Landscape Installation for Builders and HOAs

New Construction Landscaping for General Contractors

Here is what a builder gets from us on a new construction job:

  1. Plan review: we read the landscape plan, plant schedule and specs, and flag availability issues and plants that do not suit the site before ordering.
  2. Substitutions in writing: any change goes to you and the landscape architect for approval first.
  3. Schedule: crews and nursery deliveries set against your final grade, irrigation and inspection dates.
  4. Irrigation coordination: heads, drip and zones matched to the planting layout so nothing is dug up twice.
  5. Inspection walk: we walk the installed landscape with your superintendent before the inspector does.
  6. Punch list closeout: each item fixed and photographed, with a written closeout.

Landscape Renovation for HOAs

Older communities often have beds that were installed 15 or 20 years ago and never rethought. Trees have grown in and shaded out the shrubs, hedges have gaps, and turf has given up under the canopy. A renovation rebuilds those areas with plants that fit today’s conditions.

We schedule renovation work in sections so residents keep access to entrances, amenities and parking. The board gets a written scope by area and photos of each area before and after. Smaller refresh projects fall under landscape enhancements.

What Is Included and What Is Quoted Separately

Included in a standard installation scope

  • Removal: clearing existing plant material and debris from the work area.
  • Bed prep: soil amendment where needed and grading of bed areas.
  • Planting: shrubs, groundcovers, trees and palms per the plan, set at the right depth.
  • Finish: mulch and initial watering in.

Usually quoted separately

  • Irrigation changes: new zones, head moves and controller programming through our irrigation team.
  • Sod: priced by area. See sod installation.
  • Hardscape and permitted work: pavers, walls, and any concrete or asphalt, which goes through licensed subcontractors.

Plants Chosen to Survive the Site

Under Plants for Life, we choose plants for the light, water and soil they will actually get. For full program accounts, where Green Image handles maintenance, irrigation, and fertilization and pest control, every plant and tree we install and maintain carries a lifetime plant warranty. If one dies, we replace it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you bid from plans before the site is ready?

Yes. Send the landscape plan, plant schedule and specs. We review them, flag availability issues, and return a proposal with named scope and exclusions.

Yes. Irrigation layout has to match the planting plan. We coordinate zones and head locations before planting, and our own irrigation team can handle the irrigation scope if you need it.

Any substitution goes to the contractor and landscape architect in writing before we order. We never swap plant material without approval.

We work the punch list as soon as it is issued and close each item with a photo. The written closeout gives the superintendent a record for the owner.
