Most landscape problems on a commercial property start the same way. Plants were picked for how they looked on install day, not for the sun, soil and water at that spot. 2 years later the entrance beds are thin, the hedges along the wall have gaps, and the board is asking why it keeps paying to replace the same shrubs.

Green Image is a commercial landscaping contractor for HOAs, condo associations, office and retail properties, and general contractors across Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. We install, enhance and renovate landscapes with plants chosen for the site, and we put every scope in writing before any work starts.

Design for Entrances, Common Areas and Amenities

An entrance is the first thing residents, tenants and buyers see, and it is usually the hardest working bed on the property. Our commercial landscape design work starts with a walk of the site: sun exposure, irrigation coverage, drainage, sight lines for drivers, and what has failed there before. From that we draw up a plan that a board or owner can read without a landscape architect in the room.

  • HOA entrances and monuments: layered beds, seasonal color pockets, and planting that keeps the sign readable and the turn safe.
  • Common areas: clubhouse grounds, pool surrounds, walking paths, lake banks and dog areas.
  • Commercial frontage: retail and office beds that hold up to heat off the parking lot and foot traffic.
  • Buffers and perimeters: hedges and trees that screen walls, dumpsters and utility equipment.

Landscape Installation and Enhancements for HOAs

Our landscape installation and enhancements for HOAs and commercial properties fall into a few clear types of work. Each has its own page with the details.

New Construction for General Contractors

On a new build, landscape is often the last trade on site and the first one blamed when the certificate of occupancy slips. We work from the approved landscape plan, confirm plant availability and substitutions early, and schedule around the irrigation install, final grade and inspections.

  1. Review the plans, plant schedule and specs, and flag anything that will not survive on that site.
  2. Lock delivery dates with nurseries and set our crews against your schedule.
  3. Coordinate with the irrigation install so heads and zones match the planting layout.
  4. Install, then walk the job with your superintendent for inspection.
  5. Close out the punch list in writing, with photos of each item done.

More on how we work with builders is on our general contractors page.

Plants for Life

Plants for Life is how Green Image approaches every install. We select plants for the light, water and soil they will actually get, not for how a nursery tag reads. A plant that fits its spot needs less replacement, less spraying and less water.

For full program accounts, where Green Image handles maintenance, irrigation, and fertilization and pest control, every plant and tree we install and maintain carries a lifetime plant warranty. If one dies, we replace it. We state that plainly in the proposal so the board knows exactly what it is buying.

What a Proposal From Green Image Looks Like

Boards and owners approve work they can understand. Every landscaping proposal follows the same format:

  • Named scope: each bed or area listed, with plant species, sizes and counts.
  • Named exclusions: what is not included, such as irrigation changes or permitted hardscape, so nothing shows up later as an extra.
  • Photos: current conditions, taken on the walk, attached to the proposal.
  • Phasing options: larger projects split into phases a board can approve one budget at a time.

Landscaping projects often connect to other work. When a bed keeps flooding we look at drainage, and when a project calls for pavers or walls we bring in our hardscape team. Ongoing care after install runs through our grounds maintenance crews.

Start With a Site Walk

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work with HOAs that only need a few beds redone?

Yes. There is no size floor. A single entrance refresh gets the same walk, written scope and photo documentation as a full community renovation.

Yes. On new construction and larger renovations we install to the approved plan and specs. If a specified plant is unavailable or poorly suited to the site, we flag it and propose a substitution in writing before ordering.

It applies to full program accounts, where Green Image handles maintenance, irrigation, and fertilization and pest control. Every plant and tree we install and maintain under that program is covered for life. If one dies, we replace it.
