A stump left after a removal becomes its own problem. It is a trip hazard in a common area, a mower obstacle, and a spot that sprouts suckers or attracts termites and fungus. In a front entrance or along a retail frontage, it looks like the job was never finished.
Green Image provides stump grinding for associations, condos, office parks and retail centers in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade. We grind stumps below grade, haul off the grindings when requested, and restore the area with sod, mulch or a new planting so the spot blends back into the landscape. Each stump is listed by location in the proposal, so the board knows exactly which ones are included.

Many commercial stumps sit next to sidewalks, curbs, paver walkways and irrigation lines, often because the tree was removed after its roots lifted the hardscape. Grinding close to concrete or pavers takes more care and sometimes hand work. If roots under a sidewalk need removal, we say so in the proposal and note whether concrete repair is needed. Concrete work is handled through licensed subcontractors. Irrigation damaged by old roots can be repaired by our irrigation repair team in the same visit.
Many properties we take over have stumps left behind by a previous vendor or from past storms. On the first walk we count and photograph them and list them in the Property Assessment within 72 hours. The board can approve all of them at once or phase them by area. Each stump is listed by location so there is no question later about which ones were done.
Stump grinding is often paired with commercial tree removal so the crew handles both in one mobilization.
Call us and we will walk the property, count and photograph each stump, and send a written assessment within 72 hours. Request a free quote or call (561) 309-9603.

Everything a board should check before it signs a landscape contract.
We grind below grade so the area can be backfilled with soil and finished with sod, mulch or a planting. Depth depends on what is going in the spot afterward, and a new tree may need deeper grinding than sod. The target depth is stated in the proposal.
Often, but not always in the exact same spot, because of leftover roots and grindings. We usually recommend shifting the new tree slightly or removing more material. Replacement planting is quoted as its own line.
We mark irrigation lines, valves and lighting wire before grinding and work carefully around them. If old roots have already damaged lines, we note it and can repair it in the same visit.
You choose. Grindings can be hauled off, used as backfill in the hole, or spread in natural areas. The option is written into the scope so there is no surprise on the day.
