A broken head floods one bed and starves the next. A stuck valve runs all night. A line cut during edging leaves a whole zone dry. Green Image repairs and maintains irrigation systems on HOA, condominium and commercial properties across South Florida, and keeps them running between visits.

Repairs are handled under the same program as your grounds maintenance, so the people who notice the problem are the same people accountable for fixing it.

Repairs We Handle

  • Spray heads, rotors and nozzles: broken, tilted, sunken, clogged or set to the wrong pattern
  • Valves and solenoids that stick open, won’t open or leak
  • Mainline and lateral line breaks and leaks
  • Drip emitters and tubing in beds and planters
  • Wiring faults between the controller and the valves
  • Controller faults, rain sensors and programming errors
  • Damage from mowing, edging, construction or storms

Maintenance That Prevents Repairs

Most irrigation calls come from small problems left alone. Routine maintenance keeps them small.

  • Scheduled wet checks. Every zone run and inspected on a set schedule. See audits and inspections.
  • Head and nozzle adjustment. Plants grow, mulch goes down and sod gets replaced. Heads get raised, cleaned and aimed back where the water belongs.
  • Seasonal run times. Controllers adjusted for the dry season and the rainy season. See controller programming and smart controllers.
  • After storms. Systems checked for broken heads, debris and controller issues once the cleanup is done.

How a Repair Call Works

  1. You call, or our crew flags the problem on a regular visit.
  2. The tech runs the zone and finds the cause.
  3. Repairs under your approval limit are made on the spot when parts and access allow.
  4. Larger repairs are priced and sent to you before work starts.
  5. Before and after photos go on the record with the invoice.

Active leaks and mainline breaks go to the front of the line because they waste the most water and do the most damage.

Taking Over an Existing System

Most properties come to us with a system someone else installed. We start with a full wet check, write up the condition zone by zone, and price what it takes to bring it up to standard. Once it is fixed, it goes on a maintenance schedule like every other system we run.

What Is Quoted Separately

Some work falls outside routine repair and is priced on its own or coordinated with the right party: engineered redesigns, pump stations and wells owned by others, utility side equipment, and electrical work beyond irrigation wiring. Major system changes and new installs are proposed as their own project.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you repair systems you didn't install?

Yes. Most of the systems we maintain were installed by someone else. We start with a wet check and a written condition report before taking it on.

Routine repairs under your approval limit usually can, when parts and access allow. Larger repairs are priced and approved first.

It depends on the size and age of the system, but most commercial properties need scheduled wet checks through the year, with more attention going into the dry season.

It gets fixed and documented like any other repair, with photos on the record. Because grounds and irrigation are one program, there is no argument between two vendors about who caused it.
